    Jane 2009 Jane Horan founded The Horan Group in 2008.

    As a strategic consulting practice we focus on the acceleration of women leaders, innovation and learning. Our clients range from Fortune 100 companies to individuals.

     Jane established the business so she could share the intangible business skills not taught at school. She drives the business with her belief in positive politics and women’s capabilities as transformational leaders.

    Before leading her own business, Jane had a successful career in multi-national Organisational Development. 

    At Kraft Foods Asia in Singapore she was responsible for leading the formulation and implementation of Kraft’s employee development, talent management strategies and innovation practices.

    At The Walt Disney (Asia Pacific) in Hong Kong Jane was Executive Director of Organizational Development. She was responsible for leading all talent management, cross-cultural leadership development, and organisation and culture  change initiatives across Asia Pacific.  Whilst at Disney, Jane designed and implemented a business driven action learning program focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship for high potential talents across multiple business segments.   

    Jane has an extensive background in cross cultural leadership and building, diverse, global teams and is a frequent speaker on Transformational Women Leaders, Corporate Politics, and Innovation.  She leads workshops and provides coaching to executive women on positive politics, working with Fortune 100 companies, NGO's and academic institutions in Asia Pacific and across Europe.  

    Her business engagements include Covidien, Cisco, Disney, Franklin Templeton Investments, Havi Logistics, IBM, Medtronics, Standard Chartered Bank and others.

    She has been a guest lecturer at the Lee Kwan Yew School at NUS, the Wee Kim Wee School at Singapore Management University, Singapore Institute of Management, The American Chamber of Commerce, Women's Foundation in Hong Kong and the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) in Singapore.

    Jane has presented at leadership conferences, including WIN in Prague, IODA in Hyderabad, and the Global Forum on Action Learning, San Jose, California. 

    Jane has published articles on transformational women leaders, organizational savvy, action learning and innovation on 20-first, Business Week, and The OD Journal . She has radio appearances for the Booth Business School  at the University of Chicago, HeadHunter Radio, Intercall and the Living Room 938 Live in Singapore. Jane was interviewed by the Straits Times on women leaders, talent management and corporate politics.  

    Jane is a PhD candidate in Education with Bristol University, focusing on Transformational Asian Women Leaders.  She also has a MA in Organization Design and Effectiveness from The Fielding Institute, Californa.  She studied International Relations and Chinese Langauge with the Monterey Institute - California and Hunan Technical University in Changsha, China.  Her BA was in Social Ecology and Spanish from The University of California at Irvine.   

    Jane has lived, worked and studied in Asia for over 18 years.
